Whether they’re waving from the Buckingham Palace balcony at Trooping the Colour, dancing along to Lionel Richie at the Coronation Concert or cheering on England’s sporting heroes, Kate and William’s adorable brood brighten any royal occasion.
But their sunny smiles, zest for life and impeccable manners are no happy accident – Kate is a hands-on mother, who is skilled at shielding her family from the pressures of royal life.
“Kate is a very loving mum, and she and William are great parents,” royal expert Katie Nicholl tells us. “Behind closed doors, she juggles school drop-off, pick-up, homework, play dates, clubs and even tears, just like anybody else.
People who see her out and about at clubs say she’s just like any working parent, in dressed-down jeans and flat pumps, without make-up.”
