Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson could wave goodbye to their Royal Lodge home within weeks.
The divorced couple, who have cohabited the Crown Estate property for years, are reportedly set to move out by Andrew’s birthday on February 19, with a removal van having already been spotted at the property.
While it is already known that Andrew will set up home at King Charles’ Sandringham Estate at a property called Marsh Farm, which is currently undergoing renovation, this is not believed to be the case for Sarah. Instead, she will no longer cohabitate with her ex-husband.
Although Sarah, 66, herself has not explained her reasoning for this, a friend of the former duchess did reveal why.
Speaking to The Sun months ago, when it was first confirmed that Sarah no longer wanted to live with Andrew once they left Royal Lodge, a friend of Sarah’s said she wanted a break from Andrew and a “fresh start”.
