Princess Anne Transfers Diana's Tiara to Catherine—REFUSES Camilla's Request And Leaving Her FURIOUS

Princess Anne has formally transferred Princess Diana’s iconic Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara to Princess Catherine, deliberately blocking Queen Camilla’s request for access and sending a pointed message about who now embodies Diana’s legacy.

Reports indicate that Camilla’s office had submitted a request for the tiara ahead of a major state banquet, but Anne intervened, insisting the piece be permanently reassigned to Catherine on the grounds that it belongs “with the Princess of Wales in spirit and in duty.” The decision was later backed by King Charles, cementing the heirloom’s place on Catherine’s head at future grand events while effectively barring Camilla from ever wearing it.

For Camilla, the refusal is a public humiliation, interpreted by insiders as a symbolic side‑step that sidelines her from one of Diana’s most emotionally charged symbols, even as she continues to expand her own jewellery repertoire.

The snub has reportedly left her furious, particularly at a time when she is already under pressure over her role, finances, and the monarchy’s broader image reset under William and Catherine. By contrast, Catherine’s succession of the tiara has been framed by royal watchers as a quiet coronation: a visual confirmation that she has stepped into Diana’s footsteps as the central female figure of the modern monarchy, balancing glamour, motherhood, and royal duty.
