Mystery surrounds Meghan Markle's role at Prince Harry's upcoming Invictus Games after her name was reportedly removed from the schedule and replaced by someone else.
The sporting event for sick and injured former service personnel, which was founded by the Duke of Sussex, kicks off in Dusseldorf on Saturday. Harry is set to attend the opening ceremony alone before being joined by Meghan at the week-long tournament early next week.
The official guide for the 2023 Games had reportedly originally included Meghan and suggested she would take to the stage during the closing ceremony on September 16 to present a segment about some of the competitors' stories.
But now, there appears to be no mention of her in a separate listing on the Invictus website and the schedule now says the segment about the competitors will instead be presented by German TV host Hadnet Tesfai. A source told MailOnline that the now-deleted information about Meghan had been updated in error and it reports that Meghan is still due to make appearances at the Games alongside her husband.
At last year's event in The Hague, she made a speech at the opening ceremony, praising Harry. However, in the Netflix documentary, Heart of Invictus, which is all about the 2022 Games, Meghan only makes fleeting appearances.
